Your Local Treasure Valley Tire Shop.
Since 1978.

Our Franklin Rd location — formerly Blue Wrench — serves the older established neighborhoods around Meridian Road and the downtown core. We see a lot of loyal customers who've been coming to this location for years, mixed with newer residents from the Eagle Road corridor. The Blue Wrench reputation for honest work transferred with the team, and we kept the same people. If you're in central Meridian and need tires without driving out to the freeway, this is your stop.

Buying tires from a big-box retailer or ordering online looks cheaper until you price the installation, the alignment check they'll upsell, and the hassle of scheduling two appointments. Rogers Tire & Auto Care has been the Treasure Valley's local tire shop since 1978 — we stock hundreds of tire SKUs across every major brand, we have ASE-Certified Technicians doing the installs, and mounting and balancing are included in the price we quote you on the phone. You deal with one shop, one price, no surprises at the register.

We stock tires for everything that rolls in the Treasure Valley: daily commuters, family SUVs, work trucks, light commercial vans, trailers, and off-road rigs. Our tire advisors ask how you actually drive — Idaho highway miles versus Boise city stop-and-go versus winter canyon runs — before recommending a tire. We're not pushing whatever has the best margin this week; we're trying to get you a tire that lasts and handles the way you expect it to.

Every tire purchase at Rogers includes a free post-installation inspection, TPMS reset where applicable, and torque to manufacturer spec using a torque stick — not an impact gun set to 'good enough.' We also offer road hazard coverage on new tire purchases. If you're not sure what size or type you need, bring the vehicle in. We'll look it up, pull the tire off, and show you what you've got before we sell you anything.

How to Choose the Right Tire

Start with your vehicle's placard size (driver's door jamb) and driving profile. All-season touring tires are the right answer for most Treasure Valley commuters — quiet, long-wearing, and fine in the light snow we get in the valley floor. If you're pulling a trailer on I-84 regularly, you want a higher load rating. If you're running Bogus Basin or McCall roads in January, a dedicated winter tire or at minimum a proper all-terrain makes a real difference. We'll match tire to use case — not upsell you on performance rubber you don't need.

Tire Brands We Carry

We stock Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Continental, General, Goodyear, Cooper, Firestone, Bridgestone, Falken, Hankook, Kumho, Mastercraft, and several others. We're not a one-brand shop. Our buying relationships let us get most sizes same-day or next morning if we don't have your exact size on the shelf. Tires range from roughly $80 to $350+ each installed depending on size, brand, and type — we'll give you options at different price points and tell you honestly where the differences are.

Tire Mounting & Balancing Included

When you buy tires at Rogers, mounting and balancing are included in the price — not added at checkout. We mount on calibrated balancers, use quality wheel weights (not the cheapest stick-on), and verify balance before the wheel goes back on the car. TPMS reset is included for vehicles that support it. Wheels are torqued with a torque stick to the manufacturer spec for your vehicle — not whatever the last guy set the impact to.

Road Hazard Coverage

Idaho roads leave a lot to be desired — chip seal, construction debris, edge ruts on rural highways. We offer road hazard coverage on new tire purchases that covers nail punctures, sidewall damage, and other road hazard failures for the life of the tire or a prorated replacement. Ask when you buy — it's worth it on Treasure Valley roads.

What to Bring When You Buy Tires

Ideally: your vehicle (we can look up the size and pull the existing tires for a condition check). If you're calling ahead, have your year, make, model, and trim ready — trim matters because the same model can come with two different wheel sizes. If you have aftermarket wheels, know the offset or bring one of the wheels so we can confirm fitment. Walk-ins are welcome at all four locations; no appointment needed.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked.

How much do tires cost at Rogers?

Installed tire prices range from around $80 for a basic passenger touring tire in a common 15" or 16" size, to $250–$350+ for premium Michelin or Continental in large SUV or truck sizes. Mounting and balancing are included in the installed price. We'll give you options at different price points over the phone if you have your size ready.

Do I need an appointment to buy tires?

No. Walk-ins are welcome at all four locations. If you're buying a full set and want to guarantee we have your size in stock, a quick call ahead is smart — we can confirm inventory and have the tires pulled when you arrive. But we keep a wide inventory and most common sizes are on the shelf.

Can I bring my own tires and just have you mount them?

Yes. Mount and balance on tires you supply runs $20–$30 per tire depending on size. We'll inspect the tires before mounting — if we see a safety issue we'll tell you, but we're not going to refuse to mount a good tire because you bought it online.

How long does it take to get four tires installed?

Typically 45–90 minutes for a standard passenger or SUV set. Trucks and larger sizes take a bit longer. If you're a walk-in and we're busy, we'll give you an honest wait time before you commit — free shuttle is available if you need to head somewhere while you wait.

What if I need a tire you don't stock?

We can order most sizes from our distributors with same-day or next-morning availability. Call us with your size and we'll confirm lead time. Unusual sizes (run-flats, staggered fitments, large commercial) may take a day or two.

Do you offer a warranty on tires?

Every new tire comes with the manufacturer's treadwear warranty (typically 40,000–65,000 miles depending on brand and type). We also offer road hazard coverage on new purchase sets — ask about it when you buy. Our workmanship on mounting and balancing is covered under our standard 24-month / 24,000-mile warranty.
