Full-Service Auto Repair.
Honest Diagnosis, Written Quote.

Rogers flagship 10 Mile shop has been the full-service auto repair destination for Meridian and the Eagle Rd corridor since 1978. We do everything here — brakes, suspension, engine work, diagnostics, AC, electrical — for every make and model that comes through the door. If you're looking for an honest shop that diagnoses before quoting and backs the work with a real warranty, this is where Treasure Valley drivers have been coming for over four decades. Walk-ins welcome, free shuttle, after-hours key drop.

Rogers Tire & Auto Care is not a quick-lube with a tire rack bolted on. We're a full-service auto repair shop that has been diagnosing and repairing every make and model in the Treasure Valley since 1978 — domestic and import, cars and light trucks, gas and diesel. Our ASE-Certified Technicians work on brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions, cooling systems, electrical, AC, and everything in between. We write a quote before we touch the vehicle, and we don't call you to approve surprise additions after the work is halfway done.

Our approach is diagnostic-first: we find the actual cause before we recommend a repair. The diagnostic fee is $95–$120 depending on the system being diagnosed, and it's waived when you proceed with the repair. That fee covers real work — live data analysis, component testing, scope work — not just plugging in a scan tool and reading a code. We use OEM-grade or better parts, torque every fastener to spec, and back every qualifying repair with a 24-month / 24,000-mile nationwide warranty.

Full-Service Auto Repair

We handle the full range of auto repair: brake service and hydraulic work, suspension and steering repair, engine diagnostics and repair, oil and fluid services, cooling system and water pump, timing belts and chains, fuel system service, transmission service, electrical diagnosis, AC and heating, battery and charging system, and pre-purchase inspections. If it's mechanical or electrical on a vehicle, we work on it. We have alignment equipment, a four-gas analyzer, oscilloscopes, smoke machines for EVAP and boost testing, and platform-specific scan tools for domestic and import vehicles.

All Makes and Models

We work on everything: Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Ford, GM, Ram, Jeep, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes, Audi — cars, crossovers, trucks, and vans. We also service light commercial vehicles and diesel trucks (Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax). We don't turn away European vehicles because the parts are harder to source or the labor times are longer. If we can't do a specific job at a specific location, we'll tell you upfront and point you somewhere that can — we don't take jobs we can't do well.

Diagnostic-First Approach

The wrong diagnosis is the most expensive repair outcome. Replacing an O2 sensor when the real problem is a vacuum leak means you've spent money and still have the same problem. We run real diagnostics: we read codes as a starting point, then verify the fault with live data, component testing, and — when needed — scope work and pressure testing. Our diagnostic fee ($95–$120) is waived when you proceed with the repair. You get a written explanation of what we found and why we're recommending the repair we are.

OEM Parts Policy

We use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or OEM-grade premium aftermarket parts. For most repairs, OEM-grade aftermarket parts from established brands are equal to or better than OEM — and less expensive, which we pass along. For specific applications where OEM is clearly the right choice (certain transmission components, ABS modules, some import-specific parts), we use OEM. We don't source parts from the cheapest possible supplier to pad margin — the part that fails again at 8,000 miles costs everyone time and money.

Warranty on Every Repair

Every qualifying repair at Rogers Tire & Auto Care comes with a 24-month / 24,000-mile nationwide warranty, honored at any AAA-approved shop in the United States. That means if you have a warranty issue while traveling, you don't have to drive back to Boise. We document every repair in our system and integrate with CARFAX — the work history travels with the vehicle. If you sell the car, the next owner has a complete service record.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked.

How much does auto repair cost?

Diagnostic fee is $95–$120, waived with repair. Repair costs vary by job: oil change $60–$130, brake job $220–$560 per axle, strut replacement $300–$600 per axle, timing belt $400–$900, water pump $250–$600. We quote every job in writing before starting. If you have a dealer estimate, bring it — we'll tell you honestly what we'd charge.

Do you work on my make and model?

Almost certainly yes. We work on Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Ford, GM, Ram, Jeep, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, VW, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and more. We also service diesel trucks (Powerstroke, Cummins, Duramax) and light commercial vehicles. If you have a specialty vehicle or exotic, call us — we'll tell you honestly whether it's in our wheelhouse.

Can I drop my car off after hours?

Yes. Every Rogers location has an after-hours key drop — envelope your keys, note your name, number, and what it's doing, and drop it in the slot. We'll call you the next morning with a diagnosis and quote before we start any work.

How long will my repair take?

It depends on the repair. Oil changes take 30–45 minutes. Brake jobs take 1–4 hours. Major engine work takes 1–3 days. We give you a realistic completion time before you leave the vehicle and call immediately if anything changes. We also offer a free shuttle if you need to get to work or home while we work.

Will you honor my manufacturer's warranty?

Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act protects your new-vehicle warranty when you use an independent shop. We can perform your factory-scheduled maintenance without voiding your warranty. We use OEM-grade parts and document every service — if a dealer ever questions your service history, we have the records.

What if I got a quote somewhere else that seems high?

Bring the quote in or call us. We'll compare line by line — parts, labor, and any extras. Sometimes a high quote is justified by parts quality or labor complexity; sometimes it isn't. We'd rather you have the right information than guess. Free second opinion on any written estimate.
