This is the choice of some drivers interested in augmenting their ground clearance because it typically costs less than other packages. A drawback, however, can be decreased passenger comfort and driver handling. Also, there may be better options than this if you want to cross extreme terrain. Another potential option is the coilover system. This works by replacing the factory-equipped suspension springs with coils and shocks that are greater in length. For many enthusiasts, a coilover lift allows for better navigation over off-road surfaces. It also provides greater leeway for suspension movement, enabling better handling and ride quality. Unfortunately, these benefits come at a higher price. A choice that’s situated between these two is the leveling kit. It allows users to raise the vehicle’s front to the factory height of the rear axle. Thus, it offers more ground clearance and a nice appearance. Though the amount of lift is not a lot, one advantage is that the auto remains stable.
